2020 has been a bit of bad egg! But so often, from adversity comes awesomeness! Some inspiring concepts and stories have come as a result of this global pandemic. One of these was 'Ecowed', an idea conceived by my friend Kerry. Yesterday we had our FIRST Ecowed celebration and I'm so excited to share a few images with you!
(See links below to find out more about this amazing eco-friendly, budget-friendly... all-round-friendly way to get married!)
So, now to Carmen and Roy!! <3
This beautiful couple have been together 10 years. They have endured (and conquered) the hardships that come with a long distance relationship and have come out on the other side stronger, connected, and very much a team, ready to take on the world together.
While they couldn't have all their families and friends with them, they decided to get married anyway, and in true 2020 style, dialed in to Zoom to share their intimate ceremony with family and friends around the world! Landsent, one of our Ecowed venues, was an ideal location and set the scene perfectly with everyone saying it was like being back in Malaysia!!
This beautiful intimate ceremony was a huge reminder to me that marriage is not about the 'wedding', but a lifelong commitment, a promise made between to souls, and sharing that with loved ones near and far (regardless of how that looks!)
Please enjoy these photos from Carmen and Roys special day.
